Create Gemstone Necklaces Together - School Holiday Workshop 

Looking for a creative school holiday activity you'll both enjoy?

Spend quality time together designing and creating your own personalised gemstone necklaces in this relaxed, hands-on workshop. 

In this two-hour hands-on workshop, you'll design and bead your own personalised gemstone necklace from a curated collection of real gemstones, freshwater pearls, glass beads, gold and silver spacers, and beautiful charms. I'll then professionally finish your necklace with a secure clasp so it's ready to wear.

Whether you choose matching designs, completely different colours, or simply pick the beads you're both drawn to, there's no right or wrong way to create a necklace that's uniquely yours.

I'll guide you through choosing your beads and share simple necklace design ideas using a collection of sample necklaces to inspire you and help you feel confident designing your own piece. No jewellery-making experience is needed. You'll each design and bead your own necklace, and I'll complete the professional finishing so you both leave with a beautifully finished piece that's ready to wear.

This is so much more than a jewellery-making workshop. It's a chance to put the screens away, get creative and enjoy some quality time together while making something you'll both treasure.

Just a gentle 5-minute stroll from beautiful Mooloolaba Beach and the lively Mooloolaba Esplanade, where you’ll find an array of fantastic restaurants, cafes, and boutique shopping. Plus, there’s a large 4-hour free parking station right across the road, making it easy and perfect to turn your workshop into a full beachside day out.

Important
Group size & availability: Each session is limited to a total of 12 participants. The three booking options share this limited capacity, so availability may vary depending on the combination of bookings already received. If your preferred booking option shows as sold out, please contact us before assuming the session is full - I may be able to add availability depending on the current group numbers.

A maximum of 2 children/teens may attend per participating adult.

Age requirements: Suitable for children and teens aged 7–17. All participants aged 17 and under must attend with a participating adult. Adults must be 18+. 

Your necklace: Every participating adult and child/teen will design and create their own quality, personalised gemstone necklace to take home.

Participation: Children should be comfortable choosing and handling small beads independently. An accompanying adult is responsible for assisting their child/children throughout the workshop.

If your family group doesn't fit one of the booking options above, please contact us before booking and we'll do our best to accommodate you where space allows.

Capacity: Limited to 12 participants per session

IMPORTANT: This is a participating workshop. All adults attending must be participating and creating their own necklace. Standalone adult or child tickets are not available, and children cannot attend without a participating adult, including as a drop-off arrangement.

Due to the limited room capacity and the hands-on nature of the workshop, only booked participants are permitted to attend. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional adults, children or other non-participating guests, including siblings or spectators.

Cancellations & transfers
*All sales/workshop bookings are final. Due to the preparation involved, we are unable to offer transfers to another workshop date, refunds, or credits for cancellations or no-shows. If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or someone special. Transfers must be arranged with us prior to the workshop by providing the new attendee’s name and email address. We cannot accept unannounced transfers on the day.
